The website claims they 'boasts over 200 video poker machines. If you're a person who enjoys playing video poker, good luck. I am sure it's based on exhausted research (or something like that), but it was a bit frustrating for me. There just doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to the set-up. Add to that, penny slots are mixed in with $ slots. It's rather tedious to roam, looking for machines you want to play. The floors are extremely sprawled out, with kind of a disorganized feel to it. Other than that, just an atmosphere of Gloomy-Gus's. The whole time I was there, I got one smile, from a drink runner. The image I have of the staff is of a large group of demoralized individuals. No one smiles or seem to want to be there. Now to the not-so-good side The biggest thing I noticed while there was just how dejected and unhappy all the employees look. There is a wide variety of machines, to a certain extent. The gambling floors have definitely expanded to the point that even when the parking is jammed, you don't have difficulty finding slots to play. In the few hours I was there, playing penny or quarter machines, I was at one time up $160 but ended up down about $50. On the plus side, the gambling seemed relatively fair. Today (11/21/23) I had some time to kill and headed out. Last time we came it was still San Manual and the hotel had just barely broken ground. It's been many years since my wife and I have visited this casino.
